One of these really happened

Every round of Fake News puts three headlines on the desk: one is a real, reported story, and the other two were made up. Find the real one.

The real ones are the strange stories that actually ran: an airport putting a time limit on goodbye hugs, a contest for the best seagull impression, a banana taped to a wall selling for millions. The inventions are just as plausible.

  • Five rounds a game, one point each. No clocks, no penalties.
  • Real or Fake? to finish: swipe each of three headlines right for Real or left for Fake. One, two or all three could be true.
  • Every answer comes with the story: what happened, when, where, and the sources to read it yourself.
