Grab the egg. Outrun the giant.

You are a tiny stone-age kid on an island full of very big dinosaurs. They are fast asleep. Their eggs are right there. What could go wrong?

Dash in, grab an egg and run for home. The giant guardian wakes up and thunders after you! Get the egg across the red line and it is yours to keep.

How a run goes

  • Train. Hop on the treadmill at your nest and tap to the beat. Your Speed goes up and up.
  • Grab. Run out to a zone and lift an egg from under its sleeping guardian.
  • Run! Race home with the guardian right behind you. Big eggs are worth more, but they slow you down.
  • Hatch. Put the egg in your nest. When it is ready, crack it open and meet your new pet.

Nobody gets hurt if you are caught. It is a bonk and a tumble, and the egg rolls away.

Collect them all

There are 189 creatures to hatch: dinosaurs, flying reptiles, sea reptiles, mammoths, sabertooths and a few surprises. They come in eleven rarities, and in sizes from tiny to colossal. Some hatch silver, golden or rainbow.

Your pets live in your nest and earn coins around the clock, even while you are away. Spend the coins on a bigger nest, better treadmills and trails. More Speed lets you reach the next zone. There are 13, from Fern Forest to Glowwood.

Play with others

Up to seven players share one island. Everyone can see the egg you carry, and everyone wants it! Bonk a rival to knock the egg out of their hands, and hold on tight to yours. Once an egg is home, it is safe.

Night falls every five minutes. The map closes, new eggs appear, and it is time to train and hatch.

How to play

On a phone or tablet you play with your thumbs: a stick to run and one big button to grab. The game plays best held sideways. Upright works too.

On a computer you run with WASD or the arrow keys and press E or Space to act. The mouse works the menus.

In the settings you can calm the motion and the flashes, set the music and the sound effects apart, or mute it all. Nothing in the game needs sound.

Dino Egg Heist is still in development.
