Key features
- One edition a day, the same for everyone: three routes, Easy, Medium and Hard.
- Every link is stamped True or False when you check, so a wrong try still gets you closer.
- Solvable from either end: start from what you know and meet in the middle.
- Each solved route tells its story, one fact at a time.
- See how your day compares, share your result, and challenge a friend to beat it.
- Daily Challenges, weekly events and Question Packs, each with new looks to collect.
Find the cards between
Every route starts on one card and ends on another: The Jungle Book at the top, Rupee at the bottom. In between are blank spaces, and each one is joined to its neighbours by a label such as written by, born in the city of or shares a border with.
Pick the cards that make every link true. Work down from the top, up from the bottom, or from both ends at once.
Three checks, and every one tells you something
Press Check Route and each link is stamped True or False. A link you got right stays right, a pair you got wrong cannot be tried again, and you have three checks to finish the route.
Three routes a day
Each edition runs Easy, Medium and Hard. Solve a route and its story is typed out a link at a time: who wrote it, where they were born, and the detail you did not know.
When the edition is done you get a score out of 3,000, how your day compares, and a result you can share without giving anything away. Challenge a friend to beat it, then come back tomorrow for the next one.
More to play
Four Daily Challenges pay Coins, which buy new looks in the Shop: tags, string, stamps and backdrops. Each week's event gives a look of its own to everyone who plays it. Question Packs gather ten editions on one subject: the movies, great paintings, great books. Past Editions keep every earlier day, the last week of them free.
Good to know
Missing Link is made for a phone held upright. On a tablet or a computer it plays as a phone-shaped page in the middle of the screen, by touch or with a mouse.
