Yesterday's news, played
Every morning there is a new edition of Stop the Presses, built from the stories people were talking about yesterday. Ten stories, about five minutes, and every one of them is a little game.
- Finish the headline, read a story told in emoji, and swipe Real or Fake on the strange-but-true ones
- Pick the bigger number, guess by the numbers, put the week's news in order and unscramble a jumbled headline
- Spot the fib, pin the story on the map, match the quote to who said it
- Then the finale: Rae reads a limerick about the news, and you type the last word
Every answer comes with what really happened, a source to read more, and a joke from Rae (switch her off any time).
More to come back for
- Daily Challenges: three a day, each worth Coins, and more Coins the first time you finish any edition.
- Achievements: from your first edition to a thirty-day streak and a perfect show.
- Today's Leaderboard: see how your score stacks up against everyone, or just your friends.
- The Newsstand: spend your Coins on new paper editions, verdict stamps, press titles and masthead ornaments. Looks only, never an advantage.
- Past Editions: replay any edition from the last week.
