Key features

  • Untie knots by hand: drag ends over, pull them under, work them out of holes
  • Every knot is solvable, and the game tells you the fewest moves
  • A daily knot shared by everyone, with a board of your friends' results
  • Played with one thumb, phone in portrait
  • Colour-blind safe rope colours

Every knot comes undone

A tangle of coloured ropes hangs in front of you. You only ever touch the loose ends: lift one up and drag it across to lay it over its neighbours, push it down and across to pull it out from underneath, or pull a tucked rope back out through the hole it went into. Thin cord slips through more holes in one pull than thick rope does.

Every knot is generated so that it can be untied, and the game knows the fewest moves it takes. Match that number and the knot is perfect.

Calm by default, sharp on demand

  • Untie a knot. A fresh random knot whenever you want one, at the difficulty you pick.
  • Daily challenge. The same knot for everyone each day. Fewest moves wins; speed breaks ties. See how your friends did.
  • How to play. A short tutorial teaches each move on a knot of its own.

Designed for one thumb on a phone held upright. Works with a mouse too.
